Robyn is super-excited because we are going to spend Christmas with my family. She really likes them. Go figure.
My family has a holiday tradition where we purchase things for one another, cover the things in paper, then spend the morning ripping open the paper and wondering if it's late enough for a drink.
When John Lee Hooker was writing "It Serves Me Right to Suffer," he was hoping for fame enough to become a design element in Santa Barbara living rooms so he could watch white people give each other slippers to commemorate the birth of their God. Mission accomplished, John!
Later, we ate some dinner. Here's Carolyn and Mom enjoying it. It was turkey and it was stuffing and it was gravy and it was potatos. At first, there was nothing green on the table, but Carolyn and Robyn made greenbeans and a salad. They're girls.
It's funny when children take pictures, except when they use my goddamn camera.
Christmas Time is Fun Time!
"That darn Super-Glue!!" LOL.... LMAO..... SSIF (shooting self in face)
Some park in Santa Barbara. Robyn was contemplative.
The Johnsons and Gambles discover the Northwest Passage.
We saw Return of the King. Dana thought that Frodo was the bravest little hobbit of them all.
I thought Jay was the bravest hobbit.

We gathered as a family and watched The Creature who Challenged the World. That's a Christmas classic.
Wes and I argued about economics. Wes believes it's good that poor people earn so little money, and Liberals should stop their terrible whining. I believe the rich should be murdered in their sleep.
The Benevolent Order of Brothers and Brothers-in-law Drinking Really Good Whiskey (BOBBDRGW) was formed and had many meetings.
Carolyn and Dana once again hosted an amazing holiday weekend for the everyone. It was rad!
